Note 12-28-12: Gen. McChrystal's memoir, "My Share of the Task," will be released on January 7, 2012. This post takes a detailed look at his role in torture during his command of JSOC from 2003 to 2005. In addition, this post is a pre-publication critique of his "dark legacy" which is probably not candidly discussed in his book.

DRAFT, put together 2/15/11; modified and added 7/10 letter 2/26/12. Obviously need to add a Title Page, TOC, Executive Summary, and clean things up a bit. But, for now, here's a rough table of contents:
